How will decisions based on scopes be done in the future? I know that scopes should be taken seriously on snipers but on everything else I think they're going to be negligable?

A scoped anarchy vs an unscoped anarchy is preference, and that applies to everything else like MGs, repeaters and SMGs.

Scope does not affect the weapon accuracy, dmg., or RoF (only on certain snipers but we are talking about everything but snipers) so if 2 anarchy's maxed (one scopeless/one 2.7 zoom) are listed it shouldn't matter which one is used right? I would say you'll get more votes on the scoped version though. Good question though. I'd like to know myself.

Also I wouldn't say scopes are negligable on everything else. Revolvers and Rocket Launchers I could argue that.

Honestly as long as a gun has a scope I don't really care what kind. I just hate getting an awesome gun and it has no scope. It makes me

lets say it like that:
a scope doesn't hurt the gun in its performance right? so it does not hurt to have one. it is an advantage to have one, if ya really wanna snipe with it.
some people might care about the looks of the gun, but i guess you get more votes on scoped guns and that is good

Gun jack, personally I think mashers are awesome without scopes.

Also agree on the rocket launchers, the sight_none on them is that tiny circle thing which is really difficult to use.

on an anarchy looking down the scopless sights tightens the spread substantially, just like using a scope would, but you cna see whats going on around you and maneuver better

so in essence, scopes DONT improve accuracy, but zooming in does....to a point

Very true. And like you when I'm close range its scopeless for sure. Your point on peripheral vision is a perfect example as to why.

This is why once we get to upgrading the weapons its going to be fun to see what holds serve over another. Good point Ren.

As much as I'm in favor of scopes, I believe this thread should be mainly about the overall stats of a weapon, not necessarily the parts of it ... but thats my opinion. The parts just make the weapon behave differently when playing with it, it doesn't influence the overall stats (I'm not talking about the accessories since they influence the stats inherently).

Anyway, thats my preference: overall stats have priority over part stats.

But snipers with 1,0x scope are a bit of a laugh really ...

i agree with alick until you get into things like disgustingly accurate SMGS (EX high end hyperion ones)....if it has no scope, it turns into just a regular stinger-why would you care about accuracy on something if you couldnt use it? IE Commando Mercs Red stinger has a scope to go with its 94 something acc....obviously theres a need there

Agreed. Why have a scope if it is only a 1.0x?

In regards to the SMGs, the scope is preferential. Keep in mind, the acc. also depends on Proficiency.

**SUGGESTION**
Since the guncard pics are relatively small, it might be nice to have the flat damage and elemental weapons of the same type and manufacturer side by side as opposed to just a long single list. If this becomes a formatting nightmare, disregard.

Well no, for your part its not. Thats alot of work. Apparently your trading partner doesn't follow directions well he posted 3 hehehehe, jk. They are not all upgrades.
