No you understood correctly. Its apparently the same way with those x3 elemental ravens. When I was messing around with these I put the big scope on it I really like, the element drops to x2.

Hopefully Dacheat can offer some real explanation about how the scope influences the element.

No it works for all snipers, but +1 tech level =/= +1 elemental multiplier

I'm not sure on the numbers, but I think you need around 12 tech level for a gun to be x4.

yepp, thanks, i did read somewhere, what tech levels you need, to reach certain elemental multipliers.

Um.....well Steel can be double but I don't know if malevolent would override double or not. That is better than the double in the best legit by 2 points of damage and the one in best legit is Steel....I want to say that is unpossible, but if it is possible, it is a absolutely max statted construct.

Double > Steel > Malevolent
